A storybook romance + a beautiful wedding = one happy couple!

Jackie and Charles were married on a beautiful September day. Friends and family gathered to wish them well, and to share their joy. A spectacular day followed by two weeks in the Grand Tetons were the perfect beginning to this marriage, which was clearly meant to be!

Bibi nearly gave up the hope of finding a suitable man. Ross was looking. They met online, then for dinner. Dinner was a near miss, as Bibi walked right past Ross, who, having arrived early, was reading a newspaper by the entrance. However, he spotted her across the room and the rest, as it is said, is history.

Molly and her mom came for newborn portraits recently. She was happy throughout the session! We worked fast, and we think she liked the pre-warmed pillow a lot!

This is our new friend, Ayush! He’s fun-loving, energetic, and very, very sweet. We are lucky to know him and his mom!

Mr. Andrew Heimburger, a recent Graduate with a Masters of Architecture Degree from Kansas State school of Architecture and Planning has a pet lizard named “The Cheat.”

What’s not to love about a Friday evening Girls’ Night Out? Hosted by Pat Gouzien and Kate O’Brien, owners of chíc photography, and Lory Fabian, of the St. Louis RAMS, the event that was scheduled from 5.30 till 8PM lasted until nearly midnight, giving a clear message that chíc is fun! 

chíc photography provides fine art portrait photography to decorate the home. Our portraits are designed collaboratively with the client to fit into a specific place in the home, whether a public living space or a private space like a child’s bedroom.

“We recently completed a major project for Lory [Fabian] that spanned several months and included five separate photo sessions and events,” O’Brien explains. “Lory was thrilled with our work and suggested we host a party so that she could introduce us to her colleagues and friends. One thing led to another, and it turned into a mini business expo! We served cupcakes donated by Jilly’s Cupcake Bar. Andy Korbesmeyer from PRP Wines, International, provided wine tasting, and Arvella Roberts shared beauty knowledge from her work with MaryKay Cosmetics.”

O’Brien explains, “Each guest wore a hat and came prepared to tell a story about it. We provided a gift card for a chic handbag as the prize for the best story.” Who won the prize? “It was a [RAMS] coach’s wife,” O’Brien grins. “It was a great story, but I can’t share it here,” she laughs, then continues, “It was a fun party! We were thrilled to share our products with the group, but honestly the highlight for Pat and me was just making new friends. After all, life at its best is about relationships, isn’t it?”

We can’t leave out our first in-person sighting of a St. Louis RAMS Super Bowl ring!

Mr. Andrew Heimburger graduated from the Kansas State University School of Architecture on Saturday, May 17th. Andrew is my business partner’s son and a talented architect and photographer. Andrew graduated with a Master of Architecture Degree.

  We are pround to feature one of Andrew’s photographs as well as his final project.
